TAWNA MELODY LONG

LIMA — Tawna Melody Long, 70 of Lima, passed away Feb. 12, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.

Tawna was born April 13, 1954, in Lima, to Bill “BJ” and Betty (Oren) Miller. Hher mother preceded her in death and her father survives her in Lima with her step-mother, Sue Miller. On July 12, 2002, she married Michael Long, who survives her in Lima.

Tawna was a 1972 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She worked as a receptionist at Grone Chiropractic and she was the owner and operator of Electrolysis By Tawna. She was a hard worker who was always on the go. Tawna was an excellent cook and enjoyed politics. She was a wonderful person who will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Tawna is also survived by her son, Travis (Tracy) Johnson; step-daughter, Alexis (Angelo) Lombardo; grandchildren, Hunter Brown, Dominic Lombardo and one on the way; brother, Terrance (Peggy) Miller; sister, Roberta “Melinda” (Gary Morvay) Wells and her sister-in-law, Dawn Miller.

She is also preceded in death by her brother, Rick Miller.
