KALIDA — The fifth-seeded St. John’s Lady Jays (5-17) took on the sixth-seeded Continental Lady Pirates (11-12) Wednesday night on the Richard L. Kortokrax Court of Kalida High School in Division VII volleyball action.
The Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) recently announced its all-conference volleyball selections, honoring the top performers from across the league for their outstanding play throughout the season.
DELPHOS — The Parkway Lady Panthers (19-3), ranked No. 5 in Division VI, closed out their regular-season slate with a 3–0 sweep (25–10, 25–14, 25–12) over the St. John’s Lady Jays (5-16) on Thursday night in Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) action.
NEW BREMEN — The St. John’s Lady Jays (5-14) faced off against the #1 ranked New Bremen Lady Cardinals (18-2) Thursday night in a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) showdown, but the Lady Cardinals’ depth and firepower proved too much, earning a 25-17, 25-14 and 25-12 sweep.
DELPHOS — The St. John’s Lady Jays (3-13) hosted the Versailles Lady Tigers (10-5) on Thursday evening at Robert A. Arnzen Gymnasium in a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) matchup.
ST. HENRY — The St. John’s Lady Jays (3-12) traveled to St. Henry (12-3) on Thursday night for a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) matchup, and while the Lady Jays fell in straight sets, the evening featured a memorable milestone for senior Madilyn Conley.
VAN WERT — The St. John’s Lady Jays (3-8) picked up a much-needed boost of momentum Tuesday night, going on the road and earning a straight-set sweep over Van Wert (0-9). The Lady Jays controlled play from start to finish, securing the victory by scores of 25-16, 25-8 and 25-14.
COLDWATER — The St. John’s Lady Jays (1-6) traveled to Coldwater on Thursday night for a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) matchup, where the host Lady Cavaliers (6-2) came away with a straight-set victory.
DELPHOS — The St. John’s Lady Jays (1-4) fell to the Minster Lady ‘Cats (2-3) in a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) showdown Thursday evening at Robert A. Arnzen Gymnasium, dropping a 25-17, 25-17, 25-15 three-set sweep.
LEIPSIC — The St. John’s Lady Jays (0-3) traveled to Leipsic on Thursday evening for a non-conference volleyball matchup with the Lady Vikings (2-0), and while the Lady Jays came away with a 3-0 loss (25-12, 25-14, 25-12), there were plenty of encouraging moments for the young squad.
