Prior to the season, Cincinnati had a “Super Bowl or Bust” mindset, yet once again they find themselves at 2-4.

In life, enormous amounts of money can buy you many things - luxury vehicles, land, mansions, boats… However there is one thing that comes to mind that it can’t buy (And no I am not talking about happiness). It can’t buy you a playoff baseball team!
I don’t know how, but the Cincinnati Reds shock the baseball world and now find themselves in a current playoff spot with just 6 games to go!
At 2-0 to begin the season, typically you would find the city ecstatic, however that is not the case this season. Once again, Cincinnati will find themselves without Joe Burrow likely for 3 months due to a turf toe injury.
While it was ugly (and I mean UGLY), Cincinnati managed to pull out a win against Cleveland and will begin the season 1-0. Considering this was a divisional game and Cincinnati’s historical slow starts, a lucky win is better than a well-played loss.
With 31 games remaining and just ten series to go, there is absolutely zero time for this Reds team to waste.
As the trade deadline came to a close, many fans were in an uproar as big names didn’t join this Reds team. No Taylor Ward, No Eugenio Suarez…Many Reds fans were in shambles and ready to protest again. However, Nick Krall had other plans in mind.
