It’s one of the most highly anticipated times of the year – the start of the school year and coming of fall high school sports. The excitement, however, is somewhat tempered at the moment as the heat continues to persist and fall is more than a month away.
COLUMBUS — The golf season begins Monday for member schools of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), which marks the OHSAA’s 120th year for interscholastic athletics in Ohio.
As fall approaches, local athletes and fans alike are gearing up for another exciting high school sports season. After a year filled with historic runs, budding rivalries and postseason breakthroughs, several area teams are looking to build on that momentum, while others aim to make their mark in 2025.
