DELPHOS — The four seniors on the St. John’s girls soccer team were honored Thursday night, but the Lady Jays couldn’t cap the night with a win, falling 4–0 to visiting Allen East on the Champions Field turf at Stadium Park.

The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes (5-0; 2-0 Big Ten), winners of nine consecutive games, take on the No. 17 Illinois Fighting Illini (5-1; 2-1) in a 12 p.m. EDT game (11 a.m. CDT) Saturday at Gies Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill.

OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville Lady Green (13-8) fought back from a first-set loss to take down the Crestview Lady Knights (14-7) in four sets Tuesday night at L.W. Heckman Gymnasium, 17-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-23.
