VAN WERT — The #2-seeded Miller City Lady ‘Cats (19-5) defeated the #3-seeded Ottoville Lady Green (15-9) in straight sets, 25-15, 25-16, 25-15, in a Division VII District Semifinal Monday at Van Wert.

OTTOVILLE — The #6 seeded St. John’s Lady Jays (4-11-2) saw their season come to a close Monday evening, falling 3-0 to the top-seeded Coldwater Lady Cavaliers (13-3-2) in a Division V District Semifinal at Bob Kaple Track and Field Stadium in Ottoville.

OTTOVILLE — In a matchup that lived up to every bit of tournament intensity, the #2-seeded Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (8-9-1) battled their way past #3-seeded Ottoville (7-10-2) in a 3-2 overtime victory Monday night at Bob Kaple Track and Field Stadium to advance to the Division V District Finals.

COLUMBUS GROVE — It was a strong showing for St. John’s cross country on Saturday, as both the Blue Jays boys and girls teams earned trips to the regional meet with standout performances at the Division IV District Championships. Ottoville’s Riley Kemper also secured his spot in the regional field after a strong individual run.


FORT LORAMIE — The Jefferson Wildcats (1-8) hit the road Friday night to face the Fort Loramie Redskins (2-7) in Northwest Conference (NWC) action. Both teams entered with one win on the season, but it was Fort Loramie who controlled the game from start to finish, earning a 40-0 shutout victory.
