DELPHOS — The St. John’s cross country teams put together strong showings on their home course Saturday morning, as the Blue Jay boys captured the team championship and the girls finished runner-up at the Blue Jay Invitational.


METAMORA — The Jefferson Wildcats kicked off their 2025 football season Friday night under the lights, traveling to face the Evergreen Vikings in a non-conference matchup.

SIDNEY — Friday night lights returned as the St. John’s Blue Jays opened their 2025 season on the road against the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers in a high-scoring showdown.


LEIPSIC — The St. John’s Lady Jays (0-3) traveled to Leipsic on Thursday evening for a non-conference volleyball matchup with the Lady Vikings (2-0), and while the Lady Jays came away with a 3-0 loss (25-12, 25-14, 25-12), there were plenty of encouraging moments for the young squad.

DELPHOS — On Thursday evening at Champions Field, the Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (2-1) welcomed the Lima Senior Lady Spartans (0-1) for a non-league matchup. The night belonged to senior standout Kyah Kimmett, who turned in a performance to remember.
