LIMA – Shirley J. Rex, 70, of Lima, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1954, in Lima, OH, to Robert M. and Juanita F. (Tigner) Rex. They both preceded her in death.

Shirley is survived by brothers, Jack (Carolyn) Rex of Lafayette, Dennis Rex of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and George (Debra) Rex.

Shirley was preceded in death by twin sister, Sharon Rex; sister, Linda Pauline Rex; and brothers, Ronald “Butch” Rex, Robert E. Rex, and Paul Arthur Rex.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
