DELPHOS — Ronald L. Kramer, 86, passed away at 9:59 am Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025, at the Meadows of Delphos.

He was born May 19, 1938, in Lima to Willard and Ruth Anna (Heinrich) Kramer, who preceded him in death. On March 29, 1958, he married Carolyn R. Hefner, who preceded him in death on Feb. 13, 1995. On Dec. 30, 2021, he then married Sharon (Kraft) Sheeter, who survives in Delphos.

Ron was a mechanic for Ford Motor Company with 37 years of service. He was a member of FOEagles # 370 and Ford Retirees. He served 50 years on the Lafayette and Jackson Township Fire Department.

Survivors include: 3 Sons, Gary L. (Jennifer E.) Kramer, Douglas L. Kramer, and Dennis A. (Michelle) Kramer, all of Lafayette; 2 Daughters, Karen K. (Ron Zellman) Kramer and Diane S. Kramer both of Lafayette; 3 Step-Daughters, Tina (Mike) Shawhan, Mandy Wrasman, and Heather (Steve) Schnipke all of Delphos; seven grandchildren – Jason, Grant, Trisha, Cody, Hannah, Morgan and Ethan; 11 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two faithful companions, Lola and Sadie.

Visitation will be from noon until time of services at 2 pm Saturday, Feb. 1 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES EASTSIDE CHAPEL with Rev. Ted Bible officiating. Family asks that casual clothes be worn for services.
