VAN WERT — Regional airports in Van Wert and Allen County, Ohio have received substantial grants for projects at their respective airports. DELPHOS — In Tuesday night’s non-conference clash at Champions Field, the Fort Jennings Lady Musketeers (3-7) edged out the Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (4-6) 2-0. Emma Hellman was the standout performer, scoring both goals for Fort Jennings to lead her team to victory.
DELPHOS — On Thursday night, the St. John’s Lady Jays (7-6) hosted the St. Henry Lady Redskins (10-3) at “The Vatican” in a Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) clash. Despite a strong start, the Lady Jays couldn’t hold off the Lady Redskins, falling in straight sets, 25-18, 25-11 and 25-23.
OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville girls soccer squad honored 9 seniors - and 5 for its Friday-night foe Fort Jennings - with a hard-fought 2-1 triumph on the pitch of a warm Bob Kapel Stadium.
