Waggamon sentenced to 10 years to life

VAN WERT—A Delphos man was sentenced to an indefinite term in prison with a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison.In October, Seth Waggamon pleaded guilty to one count of Rape.According to court records, Waggamon had sexual conduct with the 8-year-old between March 1 and April 11, 2024.In pleading guilty to the single count of Rape, a 1st-degree felony, the prosecution dropped five other charges which included a second Rape charge, and four counts of Gross Sexual Imposition.Waggamon was previously convicted on May 6, 2013, of other sex crimes in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.Waggamon was given credit for 217 days already served in the Van Wert County Jail.He was also placed on probation for five years and must register as a sex offender.
