The Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association (OHSVCA) has released its second statewide poll of the season.
At 2-0 to begin the season, typically you would find the city ecstatic, however that is not the case this season. Once again, Cincinnati will find themselves without Joe Burrow likely for 3 months due to a turf toe injury.
COLUMBUS — Ohio State scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to pull away from visiting Ohio on Saturday night, 37-9. The Buckeyes are now 3-0 on the season and will have a bye week next week before opening Big Ten play at Washington on Sept. 27.
OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf welcomed some of the region’s top programs to Ottawa Memorial Park on Saturday morning for the 28th annual Blue & Gold Invitational, which featured 160 runners in both the boys and girls races.
