VAN WERT — Mary F. Combs, 65, of Van Wert, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Kindred Hospital. She was born March 24, 1959, in Lima to Stewart and Queenie (May) Adams, who preceded her in death. Mary was united in marriage to Michael Combs on Dec. 5, 2007. He survives in Van Wert. 

Mary is also survived by three sons, Michael (Chrissy) Adams of Bradford and David (Mandy) Schlatman and Timothy Schlatman of Van Wert; abrother, Sonny (Kim) Adams of Middle Point; a sister, Rita (Fred) Feathers of Willshire.

Mary was also preceded in death by sister, Betty Lindeman; and a brother, Everett Cavanaugh.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 am to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home.
