LANDECK – Marvin H. Brenneman, 79, of Landeck, passed away Monday evening, Nov. 25, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at Vancrest of Delphos.

He was born May 9, 1945 in Lima to Richard and Helen (Hunt) Brenneman, who preceded him in death. On Oct. 2, 1971 he married Nancy Van Pelt who survives in Landeck.
Marvin is survived by his sons, Ted (Laurie) Brenneman of Van Wert and Jon Brenneman of Landeck; daughters, Beth (Greg) Grothause of Bluffton and Annie (Andy) Baughn of New Bremen; grandchildren, Kelsey (Dylan) Lee, Kaitlyn (Austin) Nally, Drew (Emily) Brenneman, Alaina and Evan Grothause, Anderson and Anthony Baughn; great-grandchildren, Dean, Bowen and Alice; a brother, Mike (Sandy) Brenneman of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Brenneman; and in-laws, William and Doris Van Pelt.
Marvin was retired as a material damage appraiser for Erie Insurance. He was a member of Delphos VFW Post 3035 and Eagles Aerie 471. Marvin enjoyed fishing, boating and water skiing. He loved sharing his love for the water with his kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed working on cars and boats. A lot of his time was dedicated to coaching football, softball and girls’ basketball for Delphos Jefferson.
A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, at Weber Funeral Home, Delphos.
Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Monday before the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Landeck St. John the Baptist Capital Campaign or the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be shared at weberfh.net
