DELPHOS – LaDonna M. ‘Donna’ Hasenkamp, 70, of Delphos passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Kindred Hospital in Lima.
She was born March 13, 1955, in Ottoville to Bernard and Barbara (Gasser) Kramer, who preceded her in death. On June 18, 1983, Donna married Thomas Hasenkamp,who survives in Delphos.
She is survived by her children, Douglas (Brittany) Hasenkamp of Delphos, Kimberly (Brian) Wischmeyer of Ottawa and Tiffany (Joseph) Chutes of Marysville; her grandchildren, Ella, Lillian and Samuel Wischmeyer, Weston and Baylor Hasenkamp and Brantley and Wyatt Chutes. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy (Richard) Bockrath of Kalida, Marlene Duncan, Mike (Jeannie) Kramer and Ruth (Joe) Kemper all of Ottoville. Donna is also survived by her in-laws, Martha (Thomas) Gasser, Therese Gasser, and Doris Wittler all of Fort Jennings, James (Angie) Hasenkamp of Van Wert, and Ken (Mary Kay) Hasenkamp of Dublin; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her brother, Gerald ‘Jerry’ Kramer; her brothers-in-law; James Gasser and Doyle Wittler; a nephew Michael Gasser; and a great nephew, Daryle Etzkorn.
Donna grew up on a farm in Ottoville was a 1973 graduate of Ottoville High School and the Ohio State Beauty Academy, also she is a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was a hairdresser at Ruth’s Beauty Shop in Fort Jennings and then retired from the Village Salon in Ottoville. She enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds, game shows, The Young and the Restless and Bold and the Beautiful soap operas on T.V., in addition to reading romance novels. She liked baking and gardening, in her younger days she enjoyed painting ceramics. She loved playing games with her kids and grandkids. Most of all Donna was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
A funeral mass for Donna will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Weber Funeral Home, Delphos where a parish wake will be held at 7:45 p.m.
