Charles A. ‘Chuck’ Miller, 63, of Wapakoneta, passed away on October 17, 2024 at his home in Wapakoneta. He was born March 8, 1961, in Lima to Joseph L. and Lena (Louagie) Miller who both preceded him in death. Chuck is survived by his brothers, Joseph E. Miller of Landeck, Ben Miller of Lancaster, CA, Tony Miller of Columbus, Don Miller of Columbus, and Mike Miller of Houston, TX; and a sister, Janet Quatman of Elkhart, IN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Chelsea (Quatman) Zehr, Dominic Quatman, Phillip (PJ) Quatman, Nathan Miller, Elisabeth (Gilroy) Miller, Joey Miller, Kelvin Miller, and Tristan Miller (also his Godson). Chuck graduated from Delphos Jefferson Senior High School, attended Bowling Green State University, and graduated from the University of Toledo. He also completed nurse’s training and worked as an RN for 20 years. He was a devoted caregiver to both of his parents at the end of their lives. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck. He was blessed with many artistic and creative abilities including painting, drawing, photography, and music. He was able to play the trumpet, piano, and any other instrument he could get his hands on. Anywhere he came upon a piano he would sit down and play. Chuck marched with General Putnam’s Drum and Bugle Corp and the Bowling Green State University Band. In more recent years he spent time photographing mostly birds but also other wildlife. Chuck loved children, he was known to come to family functions, especially Christmas gatherings, loaded down with bags of gifts, especially for his nieces and nephews. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor and contagious laugh. Chuck enjoyed traveling, fishing, cooking, bird watching, and swimming. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Saturday, November 2 at Weber Funeral Home, 1840 E. Fifth St., Delphos. A memorial service will begin at noon Saturday at the funeral home.
