KALIDA — In a highly anticipated district final showdown on Saturday, the #1 seeded Ottoville Big Green (16-3-1) triumphed over the #2 seeded Kalida Wildcats (11-6-3) with a score of 2-0, securing their place in regionals for the fourth consecutive year. Garrett Trentman opened the scoring with a penalty kick, followed by Brandon Calvelage’s free kick that sealed the victory.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — The New Knoxville Lady Rangers volleyballers advanced by sweeping St. John’s 25-16, 25-19, 25-20 in Division VII District-final action Wednesday evening at Shawnee High School’s Lappin Gymnasium.

KALIDA — The #1-seeded Ottoville Big Green (15-3-1) advanced to the district finals with a dominant 2-0 victory over the #3-seeded Continental Pirates (9-82) on Wednesday night at Kalida in district semifinal action.

OTTOVILLE — The #2 seeded Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (10-8) faced cross-town rival, #3 seeded St. John’s (9-9), on Monday night at Bob Kaple Track and Field Stadium in an intense district semifinal showdown.

ROCKFORD — On a beautiful Friday evening at Rockford Athletic Complex, Parkway celebrated 11 senior players, but St. John’s demonstrated their dominance with a convincing 40-21 win in Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) action.

DELPHOS — The #3-seeded St. John’s Lady Jays (8-9) hosted the #4-seeded Ottoville Lady Green (5-10-1) at Stadium Park on Tuesday night for a thrilling district quarterfinal clash.

OTTOVILLE — The Ottoville boys soccer squad shut out Lincolnview 3-0 on a brilliant Saturday afternoon at Bob Kaple Stadium in Division V district quarterfinal tournament action.
