LEIPSIC — The St. John’s Lady Jays (0-3) traveled to Leipsic on Thursday evening for a non-conference volleyball matchup with the Lady Vikings (2-0), and while the Lady Jays came away with a 3-0 loss (25-12, 25-14, 25-12), there were plenty of encouraging moments for the young squad.
DELPHOS — On Thursday evening at Champions Field, the Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (2-1) welcomed the Lima Senior Lady Spartans (0-1) for a non-league matchup. The night belonged to senior standout Kyah Kimmett, who turned in a performance to remember.
VAN WERT — It couldn’t have been much closer at Willow Bend Country Club on Wednesday evening, as Lincolnview edged host Van Wert by a single stroke in a competitive non-conference tri-match that also included Ottoville.
DELPHOS — The Jefferson Wildcats welcomed Crestview and Allen East to the Delphos Country Club on Wednesday afternoon for a Northwest Conference (NWC) tri-match. The round brought plenty of strong individual performances, with Crestview’s Mathew Dealey leading the way.
OTTAWA — Behind a stellar round of 33 from Tyce McClain, the St. John’s Blue Jays captured the team title at a Wednesday evening tri-match at Pike Run Golf Club, finishing ahead of Leipsic and Bluffton.
DELPHOS — Kalida’s volleyball crew continued their strong start to the season with a 25-20, 25-15, 25-16 sweep of host Jefferson Wednesday evening.
