DELPHOS — Emma Kunz drove in five runs on two hits to lead Jefferson past Van Wert 15-0 on Saturday. Kunz singled in the first and third innings to bring in two runs each and walked in a run in the second.
DELPHOS — The Jefferson Wildcats (0-1) opened the 2025 season with a tough double-header loss to the Edgewood Warriors (1-0) on Friday evening. The second game of the double header ended after four innings.
MINSTER — Freshman Ila Hughes made a statement in Lincolnview’s season opener, striking out 10 and powering the Lady Lancers (1-0) to a 7-1 win over previously unbeaten Minster (4-1) on Thursday.
PANDORA — Audrey Violet went 3-for-4 as Jefferson (3-1) overwhelmed Pandora-Gilboa (0-1) 23-3 on Thursday.
In Division VII, St. John’s all-time leading scorer, Cameron Elwer, was named to the All-Ohio 1st Team, while Fort Jennings’ all-time leading scorer, Jarron Swick, earned a spot on the 2nd Team. Jefferson’s Karder Agner and St. John’s Andrew Elwer received honorable mention recognition.
