St. John’s was well represented in the recently released All-MAC baseball selections, with Cameron Elwer and Tyce McClain both earning First Team honors for their standout seasons. The Blue Jays also had three players receive Honorable Mention recognition: TJ Werts, Josh Mueller and Brayden Pohlman.

ST. HENRY — A dramatic late push in the seventh inning wasn’t quite enough for the Jefferson Lady ’Cats (14-10), as they dropped a 4-3 heartbreaker to St. Henry (9-12) in Thursday’s Division VI Sectional Final.
VAN WERT — St. John’s (11-11) put together a complete effort on Wednesday evening at Smiley Park, using timely hitting, disciplined plate appearances and effective pitching to earn a 6-2 road win over Van Wert (11-7).

RAWSON — A promising start quickly gave way to a high-powered Cory-Rawson attack as the #6 seeded Ottoville Lady Green (2-17) saw their tournament run come to an end in a Division VII Sectional Final Wednesday evening, falling 18-5 to the #4 seeded Lady Hornets (7-13).
