DELPHOS — Under the lights at Champions Field, the Jefferson Lady ‘Cats (4-4) claimed a thrilling 3-2 home victory over the Ottoville Lady Green (2-3-1) on Tuesday night.

COLUMBUS — Week 3 of the 2025 high school football season is in the books. Football players from all over Ohio put up some amazing performances in the third week of the season.

VAN WERT — The St. John’s Lady Jays (3-8) picked up a much-needed boost of momentum Tuesday night, going on the road and earning a straight-set sweep over Van Wert (0-9). The Lady Jays controlled play from start to finish, securing the victory by scores of 25-16, 25-8 and 25-14.

CEDARVILLE — Three months ago, Cedarville University alumnus, coach and athletic trainer Ryan Rager knew little about bobsledding. Now, he is competing to be a part of the 2026 USA Bobsledding team for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

While it was ugly (and I mean UGLY), Cincinnati managed to pull out a win against Cleveland and will begin the season 1-0. Considering this was a divisional game and Cincinnati’s historical slow starts, a lucky win is better than a well-played loss.

DELPHOS — Paulding scored 33 straight points and ended up with a 33-7 victory Saturday night over host Jefferson in a non-league gridiron tuneup at Stadium Park.

SPENCERVILLE — The 49th annual Bearcat Invitational brought a strong field of area schools to Spencerville on Saturday morning, and the St. John’s Lady Jays left with the girls team title after tallying 54 points. Claire Martz led the way with a winning time of 20:17.6.


DELPHOS — The St. John’s Blue Jays (0-3) welcomed the Versailles Tigers (3-0) to Champions Field at Stadium Park on Friday night to kick off Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) play. Despite a strong defensive effort in the first half, Versailles pulled away after the break to earn a 35-0 victory.
