Seniors enjoying chair volleyball on Thursdays

Members of the Delphos Senior Citizens are enjoying chair volleyball each Thursday at 10 a.m.Exercise is held Monday through Friday at 10 am at the center. Mondays are an exercise video, Tuesdays are a review of the Matter of Balance exercises, Wednesdays are cardio-drumming, Thursdays are chair volleyball, and Fridays are chair dancing. Berni Mullins will be at the center July 18 to lead the chair dancing. On the other Fridays, we offer chair dancing to youtube videos, just like our cardio-drumming class. (Photo submitted)

Nashville Crush to take the stage Sunday

Nashville Crush will take the Hanser Pavilion stage Sunday evening for the first Delphos Rotary Club’s Music in the Park Concert in July. Nashville Crush is a homegrown band with roots stemming from Putnam County. They have been performing for 17 years and have made a name for themselves as one of the best live bands around. The band is a perfect balance of country and rock music provided by some of the best musicians and vocalists in the business. They are a party on stage no matter where they go: a true local favorite.
