Healthy aging is a multifaceted process that involves an array of variables. Diet and exercise are two such variables, and each are intertwined.

On August 3, 2024, we held our Annual Cancer Golf Outing at Pike Run Golf Course. Due to the efforts and kindness of many individuals and businesses, we were able to donate $30,000 to the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program.

Breast cancer affects millions of women and their family and friends every year. Each of those women has their own unique experience upon receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, and those journeys hopefully end with successful treatment.

PAULDING — Members of Paulding Putnam Electric Cooperative recently donated $13,300 to 12 local charities and community projects through the cooperative’s Operation Round Up program. About 80% of PPEC members round up their electric bill and donate those pennies to this fund, making a huge impact in the co-op’s northwest Ohio and northeast Indiana communities.

4 a.m. My alarm rings and I get up to start another day. Daughter Verena gets ready to go across the road to stay with daughter Loretta and her boys until Dustin comes home from work. I always watch at the door to make sure she gets across the road and to their house okay.
