DELPHOS — Marlene A. Brand, 66 of Delphos, passed away Thursday, Sept 25, 2025, at the James Cancer Center in Columbus. 

She was born Jan.10, 1959, in Lima to Thomas and Joan (Westrick) Suever, who preceded her in death.  She was married to Harry “Sonny” Brand on Oct. 12, 1984. Sonny passed away Dec. 13, 2005.

Marlene is survived by her children, Grant (Amanda) Brand of Delphos and Colin (Josie) Brand of Landeck; her stepdaughter, Mindy Brand of Sturgis, Michigan.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lilly, Theo, Charlie and Ruby; her step grandsons, Damian and Dylan Brand, and three step great grandchildren. Her surviving siblings include, Michael Suever of North Hills, California, Vicki Richards of Landeck and Chris Minning of St. Joseph, Michigan.

Marlene was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Bruce Richards; and her stepfather, Lou Minning.

Marlene was known as an amazing cook, whose doors were always open to family and to her children’s friends, even when the boys were in high school. She was an animal lover and a member of the Delphos VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She loved hosting the family holiday gatherings.  Marlene was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and wonderful friend to all who knew her! She will be missed by many.

The Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Weber Funeral Home.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 2-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.
