DELPHOS – Edward L. Friedrich, 89, of Delphos, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Vancrest of Delphos.

He was born Oct.r 2, 1935, at home in Delphos, to Joseph V. and Rose (Carder) Friedrich, who preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rose Marie Hindenlang, for 46 years. She preceded him in death on July 1, 2001. 

Edward is survived by his children, Barbara (Daniel) Kimmet of Spencerville, Marilyn (Donald) Utrup and Dorothy Liles of Delphos, William (Denise) Friedrich of Pennsylvania and Kathy Rison of Ohio City.

Edward was preceded in death by his siblings, Margaret Fischer, Hilary Friedrich, Marilyn Hemker and Sister Carl Joseph. 

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery with military grave rites by the Spencerville Veteran’s Council.

Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Monday, April 28, at Harter & Schier Funeral Home with a K of C Rosary Service at 6:15 p.m. and a Parish Wake Service at 6:30 p.m.
