VAN WERT — As the days grow shorter and temperatures cool, northwest Ohio will soon put on a colorful show. For leaf peepers across Van Wert, Paulding, Putnam and Allen counties, there are plenty of scenic routes and parks to explore once autumn foliage reaches its peak.
Families explore estate planning options at Delphos seminar
DELPHOS — Area residents filled the Fraternal Order of Eagles hall Wednesday for a free seminar on estate planning, where an attorney from Cooper, Adel, Vu & Associates explained the differences between using a transfer-on-death designation and setting up a trust. The session aimed to help families better understand how to protect their assets and make plans that avoid costly probate disputes.
