DELPHOS — Crestview (12-6) continued its push at the top of the Northwest Conference (NWC) standings Tuesday night, sweeping Jefferson (4-16) 25-11, 25-23 and 25-16 to move to 6-0 in league play on the year.

FINDLAY — Jefferson sophomore Brylee Geary will represent the Lady ’Cats at the Division II Girls Golf State Championships. Geary shot an 83 at Monday’s District Tournament at Sycamore Springs Golf Course, finishing tied for 6th in a field of 90 golfers to secure the final individual qualifying spot for state.

Jefferson Middle School has announced its August/September Students of the Month. Farmers are in a tough spot. Fertilizer prices are spiking and crop prices are not high enough to cover the costs. The bright spots are on the livestock and dairy side with much higher prices and profits. For grain farmers; with a late drought, yields and prices are not high enough to make much money.
DELPHOS — On Sept. 15, officers spoke with a female in the 100 block of North Clay Street in reference to a telecommunications harassment complaint. The female told officers that she was receiving unwanted messages from a male.
