DELPHOS — The Jefferson Wildcats (2-14) looked to keep their momentum going in Wednesday’s non-conference matchup against Fort Jennings (9-5), entering the contest on a two-game win streak. COLUMBUS — Next March, the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) girls and boys basketball state tournaments will return to the traditional format of the Final Four, with all state semifinalists converging in the same area in one weekend for the state tournament.
HARROD — St. John’s senior Drew Boggs turned in a memorable performance Tuesday night at the Allen East Quad meet, breaking two school records. Boggs soared 20-11 to win the long jump, then cleared 6-9 in the high jump, setting a new St. John’s benchmark in both events while earning victories in each.
ANTWERP — The Ottoville boys and girls track and field teams traveled to Antwerp on Tuesday to compete in a quad meet against the host Archers, Holgate and Montpelier. The Big Green boys brought home the team title with a score of 92 points, while the girls team earned runner-up honors with 72 points.
