ROCKFORD — St. John’s junior Cameron Elwer cemented his place in Blue Jays history on Friday night, breaking the school’s all-time scoring record in remarkable fashion.



Ottoville outlasts Kalida in double-overtime classic
KALIDA — It was a game for the ages Thursday night at Richard L. Kortokrax Court, as the Ottoville Lady Green and Kalida Wildcats battled through two overtimes in a thrilling Putnam County League (PCL) clash. In the end, Ottoville found the winning formula, earning a hard-fought 55-49 victory to remain unbeaten in league play.

Lady Musketeers edge St. John’s in non-conference battle
FORT JENNINGS — The Fort Jennings Lady Musketeers (4-7) hosted the St. John’s Lady Jays (0-12) in a hard-fought non-conference matchup Thursday night at “The Fort.” Despite a hot start by St. John’s, Fort Jennings used a strong defensive effort in the middle quarters to secure a 43-38 victory.
