ODOT releases weekly construction report
INFORMATION SUBMITTED LIMA — The following is the weekly report concerning construction and maintenance work on state highways within the Ohio Department of Transportation District 1 for 2024. Allen and Putnam counties State Route 12, State Route 115, and State Route 613 in Putnam, Allen, and Hancock counties at the following locations will be restricted to one lane through the work zone beginning Aug.

Golf carts, classic cars help fund Fort Fest
FORT JENNINGS— in Putnam County, Fort Jennings comes alive each year, celebrating its history and remembering veterans who fought for our freedoms. Activities on Saturday included war reenactments in the park, helicopter rides, and the 1812 encampment for those inclined to focus on history.
Library hires digital trainer
DELPHOS — Akua Peprish is new digital trainer at the Delphos Public Library, board members learned Aug. 14.

Leonard E. Jarman, 80, of Delphos, passed away on August 13, 2024, at Cridersville Healthcare Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Pastor Jim Hernandez will officiate. There will be no visitation.
