Steve and Lisa Recker of Delphos announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda, to Andrew Knueve, son of Ed and Shelly Knueve of Kalida.
The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 29 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of St. John’s High School and a 2010 graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing. She is employed as a nurse at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Kalida High School, a 2009 graduate of Bowling Green University, and a 2012 graduate of Ohio Northern University Claude W. Petit School of Law. He is employed at the law firm of Huffman, Kelley, Brock & Gottschalk in Lima.

 
Menke/Amstutz Engagement

Dennis and Tina Menke of Fort Jennings announce the engagement of their daughter, Kari Marie, to David Michael Amstutz, son of Ruth and Glenn Hellman and Mike Amstutz of Fort Jennings.
The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 20 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Fort Jennings.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Fort Jennings High School and The University of Findlay, with a master’s in occupational therapy. She is employed by Therapy Solutions at Van Wert County Hospital in occupational therapy.
Her fiance is a graduate of Fort Jennings High School and currently attends Strayer University for business administration. He is an area manager at Progressive Stamping, Inc. in Ottoville.

 
Mr. and Mrs. Justin Krendl

Kelsey Lynn Martin and Justin Matthew Krendl were united in marriage on July 14, 2012, at St. John the Evanglist Catholic Church by Rev. Melvin Verhoff.
The bride’s parents are Jeff and Linda Martin of Elida. The groom’s parents are Terry and Teresa Van Grootheest and Matthew Krendl of Delphos.
Nuptial music was provided by vocalist Torii Rutledge and organist Mary Beth Will.
Maids of honor were Dana and Abbey Martin of Elida, sisters of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Alyssa Klausing and Valerie Morris of Delphos, friends of the couple; and Abby Van Grootheest of Delphos, sister of the groom.
Best men were Marcus and Dylan Krendl, brothers of the groom.
Groomsmen were Troy Moenter, Andrew DeWitt, Kevin Morris and Scott Fischer of Delphos, friends of the couple.
Grandparents of the couple are Bob and Dolly Martin, Marilyn Wagner, Bernard and Edith Calvelage and Jack and Mary Krendl.
A reception was held at Fort Jennings American Legion after the ceremony. Following a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Delphos.
The bride is a graduate of Owens Community College and is employed by Northwest Physical Therapy.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Toledo and is employed by Ford Engine Plant.

Susan and Doug Wenig of LaRue announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Eileen, to Chad William Grote, son of Joe and Nancy Grote of Cloverdale.
The couple will exchange vows on Oct. 20 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marion.
The bride elect is a 2005 graduate of Ridgedale High School. In 2009 she received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from The Ohio State University and in 2010, she received her master’s in childhood education. She is employed as a first-grade teacher at Bucyrus City Schools.
Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Kalida High School and a 2006 graduate of Hocking College. He is employed by Ohio Department of Natural Resources as a Wildlife Officer for Marion County.

Jerry Kroeger of Ohio City announces the engagement of his daughter, Kendra Day, to Neil Thomas Buettner, son of Kathy and Jeff Buettner of Delphos.
The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 15 in Fort Jennings.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Jefferson High School and Vantage Career Center, with a concentration in the health care field. She is employed as inventory control administrator at Reser’s Fine Foods.
Her fiance is a graduate of St. John’s High School and University of Northwestern Ohio, with a major in HVAC. He is employed as an HVAC service tech at Eisert Heating and Plumbing.
