Mr. and Mrs. Tony Averesch of Ottoville will observe 25 years of marriage on Aug. 31.
Tony and Rhonda Adams were married on that date in 1985 at St. Joseph’s Church in Wapakoneta.
Tony is the son of the Sandy Best Averesch of Delphos and the late Harold Averesch.
Rhonda is the daughter of Janet Kill Adams of Wapakoneta and the late Daniel Adams.

Chuck and Helen Ardner of Delphos will celebrate 60 years of marriage on Sept. 2.
They were married on that date in 1950 in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. E.C. Herr officiating.
They are the parents of six children, Larry (Lenore) Ardner of Canton, Sharon Hess of Rushsylvania, Mary L. Van Der Veer of Findlay, Kevin (Kelly) Ardner of Delphos, Elaine (Gary) Rode of Spencerville and Julie (Kevin) Knebel of Delphos. They also have 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One great-grandson is deceased.
Chuck worked 50 years at the Ford dealerships in Van Wert. Helen was a stay-at-home mom.

Chris and Jill Utrup of Delphos announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Christine, to Ryan Nicholas Schmit, son of Dr. Nicholas and Linda Schmit of Delphos.
The couple will exchange vows on Sept. 4 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of St. John’s High School; a 2009 graduate of the University of Cincinnati, earning a bachelor’s degree in social work; and a 2010 graduate  of the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., earning a master’s in social work.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of St. John’s High School; a 2007 graduate of Miami University, earning a bachelor of science degree; and a 2010 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, earning a Juris Doctorate. He is currently working as an attorney advisor for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

Jessica Honigford, daughter of Randall and Joyce Honigford of Ottoville and Christopher Crawford, son of Elizabeth Crawford of Lima and Michael Crawford of Gomer, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The couple will exchange vows during an outdoor ceremony on Oct. 16 at the Appleseed Ridge Girl Scout Park in Lima. 

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Kalida High School and a 2008 graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she obtained a bachelor’s of science in journalism and a minor in Spanish. She is currently employed as the editor at The Community Post in Minster.

Her fiance is a 2004 graduate of Elida High School and is employed as a sales representative at Crawford’s Furniture in Lima.

James and Jane Steinemann, of Minster announce the engagement and upcoming wedding nuptials of their daughter, Maria Steinemann, to Kory Zenz of Spencerville, son of Dennis and Patricia Fuge and Laura Krolak.

They will be married on Sept. 4th in St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Minster. The reception will be immediately following the ceremony at St. Michael’s Hall in Fort Loramie.

The couple both attended and graduated from the University of Findlay in 2007 and 2010, respectively. Kory is about to begin his second year of teaching as a 7th grade intervention specialist at Jefferson Middle School. Maria is practicing as a physical therapist at Northwest Ohio Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Findlay.
