A Van Wert man reported a domestic incident that occurred in the 1500 block of Venedocia.

08-03 10:48 p.m.

A complainant in the 20000 block of Carpenter Road, Middle Point, reported someone banging on their back door.

08-04 6:26 p.m.

A Middle Point woman in the 9700 block of Middle Point Road reported an incident of domestic violence. No charges were filed.

08-05 5:36 p.m.

Officers responded to a call of an injured deer along State Route 118.

08-04 7:39 p.m.

Four Ohio City juveniles were warned about criminal trespassing after being seen on private property.

08-04 4:30 p.m.

Police responded to a complaint of menacing with regard to an illegal manufacturing of drug and cultivation of marijuana. An officer investigated the complaint in the 300 block of West Carmean Street, Ohio City. Nothing was found and no charges were filed.

On July 25, Delphos police officers met with a man in the 200 block of West Clime Street who reported that another man was threatening him. The man told officers that these threats have been on-going for months. The man requested a report so that he can seek a protection order. Charges of menacing are currently being reviewed by the Van Wert Municipal Court Prosecutor’s Office.

On July 25, Delphos police officers met with a male in the 200 block of West Clime Street who reported that another male was threatening him. The male told officers that these threats have been on-going for months. The male requested a report so that he can seek a protection order. Charges of menacing are currently being reviewed by the Van Wert Municipal Court Prosecutor’s Office.

On July 25, officers responded to call of a male who was in a domestic dispute with his wife. Officers located the male a short time later and also made contact with his wife. After investigating the incident, officers found that there was no physical assault. Officers instructed the female on how to obtain a protection order as the two are currently separated. No charges will be filed.

On Sunday, an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after having knowledge that the driver was operating the vehicle on a suspended driver’s license. The driver, 28-year-old Michael Sanders, of Conover was issued a citation for non-compliance suspension. He will appear in Lima Municipal Court to face the charge.

On July 18, officers were dispatched to an ungovernable/missing juvenile. Officers responded and within minutes located the juvenile and transported him to his residence. No charges will be filed.

On July 18, officers responded to the area of North Canal and West Fourth streets to locate a vehicle being operated recklessly. Officers responded and spoke with witnesses who advised where the car was going. Officers proceeded to that location where they made contact with the vehicle owner. After investigating the incident, it was found that the male was having a medical condition and was transported to the hospital.

On July 11, officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Main Street to investigate a domestic violence incident. Upon arrival, officers met with the male and received his version of the incident. Moments later, officers met with the female at the police department. After speaking with both parties, it was found that the male, 30-year-old David Brincefield of Delphos, had caused physical harm to a family or household member. He was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Allen County Jail. Due to a prior a domestic violence conviction, Brincefield faces a fourth-degree felony charge.

On July 12, officers responded to the 600 block of South Clay Street after receiving a complaint of a missing vehicle. Officers arrived and spoke with a male at that residence who told officers his mother’s vehicle was missing along with his 16-year-old son.
