Mr. and Mrs. Paul GrilliotPaul and JoAnn Grilliot of Delphos will observe 60 years of marriage on Nov. 21.

The will celebrate with a family dinner on Nov. 30.

They were married on Nov. 21, 1953, in St. Michael’s Church in Fort Loramie.

They are the parents of five children, Christina (Steve) Bergfeld of Iron Mountain, Mich., Steve (Teri) Grilliot of Blacksburg, Va., Ellen (Greg) Waterman of Ohio City, Tim (Tracy) Grilliot of Findlay and Greg (Christina) Grilliot of Perrysburg. They also have 10 grandchildren and one deceased.

Mr. and Mrs. Brandon HogeStefanie Lynn Schwinnen and Brandon George Hoge were united in marriage on May 25, 2013, at The Faculty Club at The Ohio State University, Columbus, with Geof Hoge, uncle of the groom, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Julie and Dan Schwinnen of Delphos. The groom is the son of Rina and Duncan Hoge of Centerburg.

Maid of honor was Michelle Stiffey, friend of the couple.

Ring bearers were Caleb Schwinnen of Delphos and Tyler Hoge of Centerburg, nephews of the couple.

Andrew and Brian Hoge, brothers of the groom, were best men.

Grandparents of the couple are Ann Schwinnen and the late Richard Schwinnen, Patricia and John Holdgreve and the latae Joe Cox and Beatrice Dolan.

The reception was also held at The Faculty Club.

The bride is a graduate of St. John’s High School and The Ohio State University. She is employed at Grant Medical Center as an occupational therapist.

The groom is a graduate of Sunbury High School and The Ohio State University. He is employed in the commercial engine industry as a sales rep.

The couple resides in Columbus.

Elizabeth Renee Kill and Anthony Richard Bonifas were united in marriage on July 6, 2013, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Rev. Chris Bohnsack officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce Kill of Delphos and the late Timothy Kill. The groom is the son of Jim and Jann Bonifas of Venedocia.

Nuptial music was provided by vocalists Bridgette Smith and Carie Martz and organist Lynn Bockey.

Matrons of honor were Angela Lyons and Hope Scott, sisters of the bride.

Bridesmaids included Lindsay Stechschulte and Debbie Allen, friends of the couple; Melinda Aiken, sister of the groom; and Aubrey Scott, niece of the bride.

Madison Aiken, nieces of the groom, was the flower girl and Matthew Scott, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Best man was Nate Armanini, cousin of the groom.

Groomsmen included Aaron Rose and Josh Rose, cousins of the bride; Brice Schulte, cousin of the groom; Ben Warnecke, Todd Trentman, Kris Donathan and Seth Allen, friends of the couple; and J.W. Aiken, brother-in-law of the groom.

Grandparents of the couple include Betty Rose and the late Leonard Rose, Mary Kill and the late William Kill, Richard and Jane Bonifas and Mary Jane Watkins and the late Will Watkins.

A reception was held at the Lima Civic Center following the ceremonies.

After a honeymoon in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple resides in Powell.

The bride is a graduate of St. John’s High School and Rhodes State College. She is a registered nurse at Mount Carmel West. The groom is a graduate of Jefferson High School and Rhodes State College. He is a registered nurse at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Ron MaagMr. and Mrs. Ron Maag of Fort Jennings will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Oct. 12. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be at 4 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Ottoville Immaculate Conception Church, followed by a dinner reception for family and guests at the Ottoville Parish Center, Ottoville.

Ron Maag and the former Joyce Landin were married Oct. 12, 1963, in Ottoville by Father Robert Yeager.

They have one daughter, Suzie (Jim) Warnecke of Delphos; and two sons, Kevin (Jenny) Maag of Richfield and David (Olivia) Maag of Granville. The family also includes the blessings of 10 grandchildren.

Ron is retired from Ford Motor Company, Lima. His wife, Joyce, is retired from Roselawn Manor, Spencerville.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph RuenMr. and Mrs. Joseph Ruen of Ottoville observed 50 years of marriage on Oct. 5.

To celebrate, a family dinner is planned for later in October.

Ruen and the former Dorothy Rieman were united in marriage on Oct. 5, 1963, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leipsic, the Msgr. Marcus Vogel officiating.

They are the parents of three sons, Brian (Jodi) Ruen of Perrysburg, Mark (Debbie) Ruen of Midlothian, Va., and Daniel (Stacie) Ruen of Temperance, Mich.; and three daughters, Lori (Edward) Brinkman of Elida, Lynn Ruen of Woodville and Marie Ruen Dowling (James IV) of Westlake. They also have eight grandchildren with a “little Dowling” due in a couple of weeks.

Ruen is retired from Bunge. Dorothy is retired from ODOT.
