Mr. and Mrs. Richard Heitz will celebrate 40 years of marriage on Oct. 28.

Richard and the former Marilyn Gaskill were married on Oct. 28, 1972, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Spencerville by the Rev. Robert Donnelly.

They are the parents of one daughter, Michelle (Ron II) Duscheid. They also have one granddaughter, Kaelee, of Columbus.

Mr. Heitz recently retired from United Equity of Kossuth. His wife is a child day care provider in her home.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hugel will observe 60 years of marriage on Oct. 18.

A private family celebration is planned.

Rich and the former Betty Clement were married on Oct. 18, 1952, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Spencerville, the Rev. John Lehmkuhle officiating.

They are the parents of three daughters, Mary (Timothy) Dray of Fort Jennings, Carol (Lance) Buettner of Lima and Nancy (Robert) Wiechart of Fort Jennings; and a son, Joseph R. Hugel, is deceased. They also have eight grandchildren and one deceased.

Rich retried from City Feed Store. Betty is a homemaker.

Jim and Kathy DeMoss of Lima announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Nicole, to Erik Christopher Wollenhaupt, son of David and Robin Wollenhaupt of Delphos.
The couple will exchange vows on Nov. 10.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Elida High School and a 2009 graduate of Bethel College, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Lima Memorial Health System.
Her fiance is a 2003 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 2009 graduate of Ohio Northern University, with a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree. He is a clinical pharmacist at Lima Memorial Health System.

Denny and Marge Heitmeyer of Ottawa announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Lee, to Zachary Jeron Ebbeskotte, son of Ron and Teena Ebbeskotte of Fort Jennings.

The couple will exchange vows on Nov. 3 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Kalida.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Kalida High School and a 2009 graduate of Toledo University, with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 2010 graduate of Ironworkers Apprentice School in Dayton. He is a member of the Ironworkers Local 290, Dayton.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Lindeman of Delphos will celebrate 25 years of marriage on Oct. 10, with a family dinner. A vacation to Texas is planned for later in the month.

Gerald and the former Kaye Wolford were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 1987, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima by Rev. Robert Quick.

They have three children, Angie (Kevin) Klaus of Delphos, Tim (Virginia) Lindeman of Fort Hood, Texas, and Cassie (Jordan Martin) Lindeman of Delphos.

They are the grandparents of Matt (Lindsay), Michael (Paige), Bryanna (Daniel), TJ, Tyler, Ashley (James), Caitlin, Trisha, Dean and Cheyanne. They also have six great-grandchildren, Landon, Logan, Madison, Zeva, Zarianna and Hunter.

Gerald is retired from Fruehauf and I&K Distributers. Kaye is employed by KAM Manufacturing.
