At 9:46 p.m. on March 31, a traffic crash involving three vehicles occurred at the intersection of North Franklin and East First streets.
Sean Williams, 17, of Van Wert was traveling southbound on North Franklin and proceeding through the intersection at East First Street. Dorothy Kohler, 89, of Delphos, failed to yield the right of way and moved through the intersection on East First Street, striking Williams’ vehicle in the left side. Both vehicles continued to move southwest, which resulted in both striking the vehicle of James Williamson, 35, of Delphos, who was eastbound on East First Street and stopped at the stop sign.
There was possible injury to Williamson and Kohler who did not seek medical treatment at the scene.
There was moderate damage to Kohler and Williams’ vehicles and minor damage to Williamson’s.
Kohler was cited for failure to yield after stopping.
