A warrant was issued for 40-year-old Daniel C. Martin on a murder charge but as of Thursday night Martin had not been located. According to the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office, Martin may be driving a 1998 red Ford Explorer with Ohio license plates EHU 5541. The Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with any information about Martin’s whereabouts to contact them at 419-586-7724.

The Mercer County Sheriff’s Office is now handling the investigation with assistance from Rockford Police. Sheriff Jeff Grey held a press conference this morning to give additional information about the case and the suspect.
