Students at Franklin and St. John’s elementary schools were recently treated to a “show and tell” visit from the Delphos Canal Commission Museum’s educational outreach person Marie Miller. Miller formerly taught at Franklin Elementary and is presently serving as university mentor for student teachers and methods students in the College of Education at Bowling Green State University. Working very closely with Ohio Academic Content Standards, Miller selected items from the museum to illustrate and discuss local, state, and national history with the students. Follow-up visits to the museum will also be scheduled.
