At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Delphos Police were called to a business in the 1100 block of Elida Avenue in reference to a subject had just taken items from inside the business without paying for it. 
Upon officers’ arrival in the area, they located Jose Espinoza, 27, Lima, who matched the physical description of the subject involved. Upon returning to the business with Espinoza, the business owner positively identified him as the subject who had taken the property without paying. 
Espinoza was arrested on charges of theft and was transported to the Allen County Jail and will appear in Lima Municipal Court on the charge.
