A girl, Madelyn Elaine, was born Sept. 16 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Mich., to Greg and Heather (Short) Grothous of Lansing.
She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
She was welcomed home by a brother, Kaden, 3.
Grandparents are Ken and Carol Grothous of Delphos and Bud and Brenda Short of Spencerville.
Great-grandparents include Ruth Pohlman of Delphos and Robert Oakman of Wauchula. Fla.
