DELPHOS — More than 500 people packed the entertainment tent in downtown Delphos Thursday evening for the 6th annual “Toast to the City.” This year’s theme was “Little Town, BIG Country,” which lent to cowboy hats and boots galore. The evening opened with a buffet provided by 11 area restaurants including: Baked to Perfection, Brian Keegan Caterer, Cabo Mexican Restaurant, Chief Supermarket, Chik-n-House, Delphos Eagles, Kosta’s Topp Chalet, Marco’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Rustic Cafe and The Fort. The program was opened by Howard Violet of H.G. Violet Equipment, who gave a history of his family and how they came to own an ag-related business in Delphos.
