Whitney Hohlbein, 18, daughter of Darrin and Tracy Hohlbein, was the first runner-up in the recent Miss Ohio High School America Pageant held in Columbus. The judging was based on the following criteria: 40 percent on interview; 40 percent on evening gown; and 20 percent on ready to wear modeling. Hohlbein is a senior at Jefferson High School and is active in cheerleading, band, flag corps, softball, SAAD, FCA and the school musical. She participated in the 2011 Canal Days Pageant and is a candidate for 2012 Canal Days Queen.
