VAN WERT — It began with a small idea.
“Six years ago, we started with four people talking about putting on a rib fest and wondering what all we could do. Then in five years, this gets to the place where we have two days and all of these community organizations who have called us and asked if they could get involved. ‘Here’s an idea, something we want to do.’ I think it’s just a great thing,” Van Wert Area Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Larry Lee remembered,.
