Martha Marie Offenbacher, 85, of Elida, died at 8:38 p.m. Monday at Vancrest Healthcare Center in Delphos.
She was born Feb. 22, 1927, in Rushsylvania to Harley and Clara (Hatcher) Hites.
On Sept. 8, 1947, she married William Offenbacher, who died on Jan. 10, 1980. S
Survivors include sons Mark (Bev) Offenbacher and Ed (Irene) Offenbacher of Lima; daughter Donna (Doug) Cummans of Elida; brother F. Andy Hites of Huntsville; sisters Joyce (Bob) Howsher of Mexico, Julia Ferguson of Huntsville and Maxine Downing of Bellefontaine; grandchildren Julia, Melinda, Laura, Michael, Adam, Nathan, Jennifer, Tom and Travis; and great-grandchildren Sarah, Dorothy, Allisun, Dylan, Jordan, Kiya and Chase.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Hites; and sisters Millie Wells, Phylis Allen, Elsie Taylor, Caroline Hamilton, Frieda Bayer and Susan Ann Krouskop.
Mrs. Offenbacher was a homemaker and housekeeper for several families in the Lima area and a member of Church of the Living God and former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Funeral services begin at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Eastside Chapel. Pastor Diana Shurelds will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12:30-2:30 p.m. before the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
