The Village of Elida has issued a Boil Water Advisory for village water residents on Piquad Road until further notice. A water main lead was discovered this morning and the water supply was shut off for an extended period of time. 

If tap water is cloudy or contains particles, strain through a tightly-woven cloth or into a clean container. Then, boil for 20 minutes and allow to cool before drinking or cooking with it.
