DEAR EDITOR:
I think the letter to the editor in Friday’s Delphos Herald was mean and vindictive.
All we need is another person from Delphos trying to drive a wedge between the two schools.
I went to some of these games and I saw many people from both schools there rooting the Jefferson girls to a victory. No, I didn’t go to every game but the game in Elida was a full house and by my estimation, one-third of the people there were Blue Jays.

People in town need to realize it takes all of us (both schools) to make this a great place to live and raise our kids.

My kids went to St. John’s; my brothers’ kids went to Jefferson; and another brother has a senior at St. John’s and another at Jefferson. We support both schools.
Do we all say things about the other school we shouldn’t? Yes. Well, it’s time to STOP. These kids need our support, not our constant bickering.
