The couple will exchange vows in June at First Baptist Church in Abilene.

The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Clyde High School, Clyde, Texas,; a 2000 graduate of William Jewell College with a bachelor of arts degree in history and English; and a 2002 graduate the University of Delaware with a master of art in history. She is an exhibit content coordinator at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin.

Her fiance is a 1998 graduate of Jefferson High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Akron, with a degree in construction engineering technology. He is a construction manager with H.R. Gray and Associates in Austin.
