DEAR EDITOR: On Monday, Jan. 24, someone hit my mail box. There was no real damage except both end doors were open. I went out and closed them thinking it was the mail carrier. I had outgoing mail in the box and it was gone. On Tuesday morning, I went to put mail out and there was Monday’s mail. What happened to my outgoing mail? Sure enough, it was in the snow some distance from the box. One was an important document I had signed to return. If I had not found it, it would have cost me dearly. The next time you hit something, come to the door. We don’t bite. Margaret Hesseling
