DEAR EDITOR,
With all the negative publicity and talk about today’s children I wanted to take a moment to congratulate the Delphos Kiwanis Club K-Kids program. The K-Kids meet at the Trinity United Methodist Church after school, have a short program of worship and fellowship followed by community service projects.
In October, the K-Kids helped with planting tulip bulbs, trimming plants and turning compost at the Green Space in downtown Delphos.
They have been involved with decorating the post office for fall and decorated again for Veterans Day.
The group is an example of what can be accomplished with responsible leadership and a focus on values and service to the community.
