Eleven individuals were arraigned in Common Pleas Court before Magistrate Joseph E. Quatman.
James C. Irwin, 44, of Delphos entered a not guilty plea to an indictment charging him with Having Weapons While Under A Disability a felony of the third degree.  Irwin was arrested by Delphos Police during a traffic stop at which time it was found that Irwin had a 45 caliber handgun in his vehicle. Records indicated that Irwin had a previous conviction for a crime of violence which made it illegal for him to own or possess a firearm. Bond was continued as was set in Van Wert Municipal Court during his initial appearance, the bond was $15,000 cash with a ten percent privilege. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 17. 
Alan Pierce, 43, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to Gross Sexual Imposition a felony of the fifth degree. According to a Van Wert City Police Department Pierce allegedly had sexual contact with another not his spouse and that the victim was under the age of thirteen years. The incident allegedly took place on August 1st of this year at the home of the victim’s parent. Pierce was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing being scheduled for Nov. 24.
Seth J. Vanosdale, 23, Monroeville, Indiana entered a not guilty plea to Possession of Drugs a felony of the fifth degree. 
Vanosdale was arrested after officers of the Van Wert City Police Department found a large quantity of marijuana in his vehicle during a traffic stop on October 24tth, 2010. Vanosdale was released on a cash bond which was posted in the Van Wert Municipal Court during his original appearance. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 17. 
Scott D. Bauer, 47, Convoy, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of Assault a felony of the fourth degree. 
The Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department had reportedly responded to the Bauer residence in reference to a domestic related situation. Deputies were attempting to subdue Bauer at which time he assaulted the deputy by kicking him. Bauer was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 17.
Dyllen A. Redding, last known address Convoy, entered a plea of not guilty to Grand Theft a felony of the fourth degree and Vandalism a felony of the fifth degree. A Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department investigation alleges that Redding had stolen a vehicle from a Paula Dawson and later did severe damage exceeding more than $500 to the exterior of the vehicle. Redding was ordered held in jail until he could provide a residence address as he was allegedly homeless at this time. A pretrial hearing has been schedule for Nov. 17. 
Nathan T. Williams, 19, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to one count of Theft a felony of the fifth degree. Williams was allegedly responsible for the theft of a credit card from a home that he was “house sitting” while the occupant was on vacation. Williams reportedly used the credit card to make personal purchases. Williams was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 24.
Hailey Burgess, 22, Van Wert entered a not guilty plea to an indictment charging her with Illegal Processing Of A Drug Document a felony of the fourth degree. 
Burgess was indicted after she allegedly altered a prescription for a pain killing drug and later passed the prescription at a local pharmacy. 
Burgess was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 24.
Rebecca Ridenour, 24, Ohio City, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of Domestic Violence a felony of the fourth degree. 
According to a Van Wert County Sheriff’s Department investigation Ridenour assaulted a family household member that was attempting to separate her and her mother during an argument. 
Ridenour was released on a personal surety bond with an order not to have contact with the victim. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 24.
Carl J. Donley, II, 38, Wren, entered a not guilty plea to a charge of Assault a felony of the fourth degree. 
Donley allegedly assault a police officer who was attempting to arrest another person for an OVI charge.  
Donley was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 17.
Cheryl M. Mortemore, 30, Napoleon, entered a not guilty plea to a two count indictment charging her with Complicity To Commit Identity Fraud and Complicity To Commit Forgery both felonies of the fifth degree.
Ms. Mortemore did assist another family member in obtaining documents purporting the other person to be another person for the purposes of forging a check. 
This incident allegedly took place at the Wells Fargo Bank in November 2009. 
The investigation was conducted by a State Investigator working for the Department of Highway Safety. 
Motemore was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 17. 
Zacharia J. Young, 23, Van Wert, entered a not guilty plea to an indictment charging him with Domestic Violence a misdemeanor of the first degree. 
According to a Van Wert City Police Department report Young allegedly caused or attempted to cause physical harm to a family or household member. 
Young was released on a personal surety bond with a pretrial hearing scheduled for Nov. 17.
