Eleven individuals were arraigned in Common Pleas Court before Magistrate Joseph E. Quatman. James C. Irwin, 44, of Delphos entered a not guilty plea to an indictment charging him with Having Weapons While Under A Disability a felony of the third degree. Irwin was arrested by Delphos Police during a traffic stop at which time it was found that Irwin had a 45 caliber handgun in his vehicle. Records indicated that Irwin had a previous conviction for a crime of violence which made it illegal for him to own or possess a firearm. Bond was continued as was set in Van Wert Municipal Court during his initial appearance, the bond was $15,000 cash with a ten percent privilege. A pretrial hearing has been scheduled for Nov. 17.
